Russia-occupation forces fire at Ukrainian positions three times over past day – JFO HQ
KYIV. Aug 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Since the beginning of this day, Russia-occupation forces have violated the ceasefire three times, firing at Ukrainian positions, the Ukrainian fighters were not wounded, the press center of the JFO headquarters said.
"As of 07:00 on August 31, three violations of the ceasefire were recorded. For the current day, there are no combat losses among the servicemen of the Joint Forces," the headquarters said on the Facebook page on Tuesday.
In the direction of Shyrokine, Russia-occupation forces fired at Ukrainian positions from heavy anti-tank and automatic heavy grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
At Novozvanivka, the enemy used 120 caliber mortars.
It is noted that the Ukrainian servisemen returned fire to the enemy shelling.
The headquarters said that over the past day, on August 30, some 11 violations of the ceasefire were recorded in the JFO area.
