Russia keeps one carrier of Calibers on combat duty in Black Sea – AFU Navy
KYIV. Feb 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Six enemy ships are on combat duty in the Black Sea on February 27, among them one carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of four missiles, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Facebook on Monday.
There is one enemy ship in the Sea of Azov, 10 in the Mediterranean, of which five carriers are Caliber with a total salvo of 72 missiles.
During the day, 18 vessels passed through the Kerch-Yenikalsky Strait occupied by the Russian Federation towards the Sea of Azov, 10 of them came from the Bosphorus, and 18 vessels also went towards the Black Sea, four of them continued to move in the direction of the Bosphorus.
“The Russian Federation continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Protection of Human Life at Sea (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS) on civilian vessels in the waters of the Sea of Azov,” the AFU Navy added.
