Russia doesn’t think about peace talks, but wants to inflict painful harm on Ukraine – Zelensky
KYIV. Nov 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Russia is not thinking about peace talks, but about how to inflict painful harm on Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video message on Friday.
According to him, during a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, preparations for the G20 summit were discussed.
"It is obvious that Russia does not think about peace. Another terrorist attack on Mykolaiv, the destruction of a residential building by a Russian missile is a clear proof of what Russia really cares about: not how to come to peace, but how to inflict the most painful harm…," the president said.
"Well, Ukraine and the world have the power to punish terrorists for everything they have done and bring peace back," he said.
