MOSCOW. Sept 10 (Interfax) – Moscow and Minsk will sign a document on a joint gas market by December 2023, and the Russian gas price for Belarus in 2022 will remain at the same level, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a joint press conference with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
"Agreements were also reached on issues which are related to the pricing of Russian energy resources that are very sensitive for the Belarusian side. During lengthy discussions, mutually acceptable approaches to gas issues were worked out. The Russian gas price for Belarus in 2022 will remain at this year’s level. A document creating a joint gas market within the Union State will be signed by December 1, 2023," he said.
