Ristone Holdings completes harvesting of early grains, threshes 120,000 tonnes
KYIV. Aug 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ristone Holdings group has completed the harvesting of early grain crops; in total, about 120,000 tonnes of winter wheat, barley and rapeseeds have been threshed.
According to the group’s website, Ristone Holdings’ early grain crop was up 20% last season, with about 150,000 tonnes of wheat, barley, peas and rapeseeds.
According to the agricultural holding, the day before it began sowing winter rapeseeds, it is planned to increase the sown area under this crop.
In addition, the agricultural group purchased four Deutz-FAHR C7206 harvesters and five DMC Primera 9000-2C seeders. Next in line is the purchase of tillage equipment from Kverneland and Bednar.
Ristone Holdings is an agricultural vertically integrated holding. Prior to the Russian invasion, Ristone Holdings cultivated 65,800 hectares in the territory of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Zaporizhia regions, where it grew grain and industrial crops, was engaged in animal husbandry, as well as production, wholesale and retail trade in agricultural products, in particular, flour, bread, bakery products and etc.
