Reznikov: Reaction of Ukraine's partners to expansion of Russia's aggression to be very tough, Kremlin warned of this
KYIV. Dec 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The reaction of Ukraine’s partners to the expansion of the Russian Federation’s aggression will be very tough, and this has been reported to the Kremlin, said Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov.
"We weigh all the risks. I cannot describe in detail certain consultations that I held at the level of defense ministers. But their reaction will be very harsh against the aggressor, and we have an agreement that they will do this ahead of time, and not later, and this has been conveyed to the Kremlin in a sufficiently articulate manner," Reznikov said during the "hour of questions to the government" at the Verkhovna Rada in Kyiv on Friday.
He stressed that he has no right, as the Minister of Defense, to spread panic.
"Therefore, I urge you all to be calm, balanced. We are ready to fight back, but if we panic, we will lose in moral terms, and we are a victorious nation, we have victorious Armed Forces. There is no need to be in a state of euphoria, nor in a state of panic," the minister added.
