Requirements voiced on Saturday by participants of 'March for Kyiv' gradually introduced In capital – Klitschko

KYIV. Oct 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said that the capital is gradually introducing the requirements that were voiced on Saturday afternoon by the participants of the March for Kyiv action.

"[…] The city is actually doing a lot of what the participants of the March for Kyiv voiced today," Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.

In particular, according to the mayor, air monitoring stations are being installed in the capital, safer technologies for water purification (not chlorine) are being introduced, new public transport is being purchased, the parking system is being improved, new green zones are being renovated and created. Also, at the end of 2021, it is planned to submit the draft General Plan to public hearings.

"Of course, there is still a lot to do for comfort in Kyiv. Therefore, prompt, criticize, help, propose ideas and projects. We will meet and discuss them, implement them together. And together change our capital!", the mayor said.

Earlier it was reported that the action "March for Kyiv" in the center of the capital to draw attention to the problems of the city ended with a musical rave near the building of the Kyiv City State Administration.
