Replacement of parliamentary committees heads not to be discussed in Truskavets – Arakhamia
KYIV. Sept 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The deputy faction Servant of the People at its visiting session in Truskavets on October 1-2 does not plan to discuss the issue of replacing the heads of the committees of the Verkhovna Rada, head of the faction David Arakhamia said.
"Today I heard this information for the first time from one of the heads of the committee, who called me and said: ‘The journalists are asking if we do have personnel questions on the heads of the committees at our meeting […]" We are not planning to discuss any questions about the heads of committees. This information was somehow in the air, and therefore I officially declare that we do not expect such changes," Arakhamia said on the air of the Ukraine-24 TV channel on Monday evening.
As reported, on October 1-2 in the city of Truskavets (Lviv region) a visiting session of the Servant of the People faction will take place.
Speaker of the faction Yulia Paliychuk informed that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and representatives of all branches of government will take part in this visiting session.
Earlier, the media reported that in Truskavets, among personnel issues, the replacement of speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov, four ministers and several heads of parliamentary committees will be discussed. In particular, head of the budget committee Yuriy Aristov, head of the local government and regional policy committee Andriy Klochko, as well as head of the committee on education, science and innovation Serhiy Babak and Dmytro Natalukha, who heads the committee on economic development, may allegedly lose their positions.
