Remains of 27 dead found at accident site in Rivne region – Gerashchenko
KYIV. May 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The remains of 27 dead were found at the site of the accident on the Kyiv-Chop highway in Rivne region, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko said.
"In a terrible accident in Rivne region, where a minibus, a fuel truck and a passenger bus collided, police investigators found 27 remains of the dead. Of the 38 passengers on the bus, only 12 survived. The driver of the fuel truck survived, but is in serious condition," Gerashchenko wrote in a telegram channel on Tuesday.
On May 3 around 19:50 in Sytne village of Dubno district, on the Kyiv-Chop highway, a fuel truck collided with a bus, followed by a fire.
