Relief Fund named after Sheptytsky starts working for women who were in Russian captivity – Reintegration Ministry

KYIV. Aug 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Fund named after the Blessed Hieromartyr Klymentiy Sheptytsky has started its work to help women who were in Russian captivity and children who lost their parents during the war, the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine reports.

"The Fund was created on the joint initiative of the governments of Ukraine and Poland. The Fund’s mission in Ukraine is to help women who were in Russian captivity and children who lost their parents during the war. The Polish government has allocated 8 million zlotys (about UAH 64 million) to the Fund. A monthly allowance of about UAH 5,700 is provided for war orphans. And the Fund will pay about UAH 80,000 to women released from Russian captivity at a time," the ministry’s press service said.

The Sheptytsky Foundation will also finance psychological support for the released women and their rehabilitation in health and entertainment camps.
