Refugees leave camp on Belarusian-Polish border, head towards Poland – State Border Committee

MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax) – Refugees stranded on the Belarusian-Polish border self-organized into a large column at around noon and headed towards the Bruzgi checkpoint, the Belarusian State Border Committee said on Telegram.

Hoping for a positive outcome, the refugees gathered their warm clothes, tents and sleeping bags on Monday morning, the committee said.

"The refugees underline their absolutely peaceful intentions and readiness for any turn of events. Women with young children are leading the column," it said.

Belarusian border guards are providing security and order in the makeshift refugee camp and on the way of the column, the committee said.
