Receipts to accounts of liquidated banks in July grows to UAH 162.5 mln – DGF
KYIV. Aug 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Receipts to the accounts of insolvent banks in July 2022 amounted to UAH 162.5 million, which is 11.9 times more than in June (UAH 13.7 billion), according to the website of the Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) on Monday.
According to the report, the funds received from the repayment of loans reached UAH 157.3 billion, from the lease of property – UAH 4.9 million and from the sale of assets and property of banks through electronic auctions last month amounted to UAH 300,000.
In general, in January-July 2022, proceeds to banks managed by the Fund amounted to UAH 1.9 billion, including UAH 1.506 billion from the redemption of securities, UAH 65.3 million from the sale of property, UAH 312.4 million from repayment of loans, UAH 16.6 million from the lease of property.
