Receipts to accounts of liquidated banks decreased by 6.3 times in July – Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund
KYIV. Aug 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Receipts to the accounts of insolvent banks in July 2021 amounted to UAH 147.2 million, which is 6.3 times less than in June (UAH 927.5 million), according to the website of the Deposit Guarantee Fund for Individuals.
According to the report, proceeds from the sale of assets and property of banks last month amounted to UAH 134 million, including funds received by Arcada Bank (UAH 96.3 million), VTB Bank (UAH 16.3 million), and Misto Bank (10, UAH 3 million).
The Fund noted that proceeds from loan repayment in July 2021 amounted to UAH 11.7 million, including funds received by Premium Bank (UAH 5.8 million), Arcada Bank (UAH 5.6 million), and Rodovid Bank (UAH 0.1 million).
In addition, part of the funds came from the lease of property (UAH 1.5 million).
According to the report, in just seven months of 2021, receipts to the accounts of insolvent banks amounted to almost UAH 1.4 billion.
