Razumkov signs order to increase number of journalists who can work on second, third floors in Rada building
KYIV. Oct 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov has signed an order to increase the number of media representatives who can work on the second and third floors of parliament, press secretary of the chairman Olha Tuniy has said.
"In connection with numerous appeals from journalists, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov has signed an order to increase the number of media representatives who can work in parliament on the second and third floors! Now up to 200 people can work in the press center on the third floor, 30 people in the press balcony in the meeting room, and 200 people on the sidelines of the second floor," Tuniy wrote on Facebook on Wednesday morning.
According to her, also according to the order, any restrictions on movement on the sidelines of the second floor will be lifted.
"All the details are described in the document," she added, attaching a photocopy of the order to the publication.
According to the document, no more than two camera crews (up to four people) are allowed to the press center on the third floor from television channels, up to two people from news agencies, and one person from other publications.
On the sidelines of the second floor of the plenary part of the Rada, no more than one camera crew (up to two people) is allowed from TV channels, up to two people from news agencies, including photojournalists, and one person from other publications.
