Razumkov signs order on extraordinary meeting of Rada on Oct 7
KYIV. Oct 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov signed decree No. 319 on convening an extraordinary session of parliament on October 7 at 16:00, which will consider a number of legislative initiatives related to pension payments.
According to the order published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, the agenda for the meeting included consideration of seven bills: No. 4038 on increasing pensions, No. 4041 on establishing the minimum old-age pension at the level of the minimum wage, No. 2810 on the abolition of the increase in the retirement age on preferential terms and on seniority pensions, No. 5606 on clarifying the procedure for payment of pensions, No. 4031 on increasing pensions to victims of the Chornobyl disaster, No. 4566 on increasing the minimum old-age pension with the actual subsistence minimum for those who have lost working capacity of persons and No. 5605 on social support for children of war.
The text of the document says that the extraordinary meeting is convened due to relevant demand of 153 MPs of Ukraine.
