Raw gas line collapses at ArcelorMittal Temirtau, second time in a week
ALMATY. Jan 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A raw gas line has collapsed at JSC ArcelorMittal Temirtau, the company’s press service said in a statement.
"Today, January 18, at 6.10 a.m., a 20-meter section of the 2200-mm raw gas line collapsed," according to the press service.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the incident is under investigation, the press service said.
Several days ago, on January 14, another industrial accident was reported at ETS-2, a cogeneration power plant owned by JSC ArcelorMittal Temirtau. The accident involved the partial collapse of the flue gas duct, with the company reporting that there were also not any injuries because of the incident.
