Ramstein group meeting to be held next week – Stoltenberg
BRUSSELS. Jan 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says that the next meeting in the Ramstein format will be held next week.
He said on Tuesday in Brussels at a press conference that they would meet next week in Ramstein, in the US-led contact group that provides support to Ukraine. There they would meet with the Ukrainian Minister of Defense to discuss what specific type of weapon is needed and how the Allies can provide these weapons.
At the same time, the NATO Secretary General did not specify the date of the upcoming meeting of the group.
Earlier, a message appeared on the website of the German Ministry of Defense, in which the next meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format was announced on January 20, 2023.
