Rada to consider de-oligarchization bill this weeks – Arakhamia
KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia predicts the Verkhovna Rada may consider at second reading the bill on de-oligarchisation on Wednesday or Thursday.
"We will consider this issue. I believe that this will happen, most likely on Wednesday or Thursday," Arakhamia said at a briefing on Monday evening after the faction meeting.
He said the bill is being "brought down" at all levels.
"I thought a lot, who is interested in defeating the law on oligarchs – oligarchs or people who work for oligarchs […] and came to the conclusion that these are people who work for oligarchs, as oligarchs are on their side […]. They are well-to-do people, they have everything […] But people who stand in line at the oligarchs to serve them, that will be very inconvenient for them," Arakhamia said.
