Rada sets working group on restoration of territories affected by Russian aggression – Shuliak
KYIV. Nov 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Verkhovna Rada has created a working group for the comprehensive restoration of territories affected by armed aggression against Ukraine or where socio-economic, infrastructural, environmental and other crises are concentrated, Olena Shuliak, MP, head of the Servant of the People party, said.
"The group will operate under our Committee on State Building, Local Governance, Regional and Urban Development in order to coordinate the work on the creation of Comprehensive Recovery Programs. I was appointed its chairman," she wrote on the Telegram channel on Wednesday.
According to Shuliak, not only MPs will be involved in the work, but also representatives of the President’s Office, the secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, central executive authorities, local governments, representatives of the authorized bodies of urban planning and architecture, as well as associations, unions, non-governmental organizations, scientists, and experts in the field of urban development.
