Rada proposes banning persons who damaged Ukraine’s defense capability to govern the state
KYIV. March 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – MPs propose not to allow persons who have harmed the sovereignty of Ukraine to govern the state.
Relevant draft law No. 9137 On amendments to the law “On the purification of Power” on the prevention of participation in the government of persons who have damaged the sovereignty, territorial integrity and defense capability of Ukraine by their actions was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on Wednesday, the parliament’s website reports.
The initiators of the bill were deputies from the Servant of the People faction Serhiy Kuzminykh, Heorhiy Mazurashu and Anatoliy Ostapenko.
The text of the bill has not yet been made public on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
