Providna insurer raises net premiums by 33.9%, payments by 24% in nine months
KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Providna insurer (Kyiv) in January-September 2021 collected UAH 808.301 million in net premiums, which is 33.9% more than in the same period last year, according to the company’s report posted in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.
It is noted that the company’s gross premiums for this period increased by 43.6% – up to UAH 956.124 million. Some UAH 3.967 million was transferred to reinsurance (more by 28%).
For the nine months, the company paid UAH 431.230 million, which is 24% more than in the same period a year earlier.
Administrative expenses amounted to UAH 42.637 million (more by 21.9%), sales expenses – UAH 157,000 (less by 23.5%).
The pretax financial result amounted to UAH 106.401 million (less by 10.4%), net profit – UAH 74.45 million (less by 24.7%).
