Providna insurer increases collection of premiums by 45% in Jan-June

KYIV. Sept 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Providna insurance company (Kyiv) in January-June 2021 collected UAH 645.9 million of insurance premiums, which is 45% more than in the same period a year earlier, according to the insurer’s website.

Most of all collected premiums fell on voluntary medical insurance contracts – UAH 476.7 million, which is 40.7% more than in the same period last year. The amount of insurance premiums under KASKO agreements totaled UAH 42.100 million (more by 18.2%).

As noted, for the specified period, the company paid out UAH 280 million (more by 18.6%).

The net financial result for the six months amounted to UAH 42.2 million.

The insurer notes that it continues to implement its strategy aimed, in particular, at increasing the portfolio of voluntary types of insurance, developing new modern insurance products and further improving customer service.

Providna insurance company has been operating in the Ukrainian market since 1995. IIC Ukraine B.V. (the Netherlands) owns 99.999% of the company’s shares.
