KYIV. Feb 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – At the suit of the prosecutor’s office, the Southwestern Economic Court of Appeal issued a decision to return to state ownership a sanatorium worth about UAH 1 billion in the Kuyalnik resort, the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.
"At the suit of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the court returned to state ownership the property of the association of sanatorium and resort establishments in the Kuyalnik resort, worth about UAH 1 billion. In court, the prosecutor proved that the enterprise illegally registered the ownership of the premises of the sanatorium with an area of more than 100,000 square meters," the report says.
The department recalls that the prosecutors went to court, but the claim was denied.
"The Southwestern Economic Court of Appeal overturned the decision of the court of first instance and adopted a new decision, by which it declared illegal and canceled the decision of the registrars, recognized the ownership of the state represented by the State Property Fund of Ukraine," the report says.
The prosecutor’s office enforces the court decision.
