Prosecutor General: At United for Justice conference, there will be panel discussions on investigation, prosecution of Russia’s crimes

KYIV. Feb 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – At the United for Justice conference, which will be held in the “legal Ramstein” format, there will be separate panel discussions dedicated to the investigation and prosecution of crimes committed by the Russian aggressor, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin said.

“We are gathering international partners and friends in the ‘legal Ramstein’ format. As the President said, we will talk about all the possibilities, reactions and solutions. This is the work of the Joint Investigation Team consisting of Ukraine, Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia and Romania, and the legal aspects of the creation of a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression, as well as a compensation mechanism for the damage caused,” the message published on the Telegram channel on Friday evening says.

“[At the conference] there will be separate panel discussions dedicated to the investigation and prosecution of crimes of genocide, sexual violence, war crimes against the environment, etc.,” the Prosecutor General said.

On Friday, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the United for Justice conference.
