PrivatBank supervisory board approves purchase of another 600 Starlink terminals
KYIV. Dec 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The supervisory board of state-owned PrivatBank (Kyiv) has approved the purchase of another 600 Starlinks, Roman Sulzhik, a member of the bank’s supervisory board, said.
"The supervisory board today has approved the purchase of another 600 Starlinks, and therefore the branches will continue to work as much as possible for our clients," he wrote on Telegram on Thursday.
Sulzhik added that now there is a competition for the renewal of the supervisory board of PrivatBank, and he does not yet know whether he will remain in the bank next month, but he is proud of his work over the past three years.
According to the statistics of the National Bank of Ukraine, as of November 1, 2022, PrivatBank ranked first in terms of total assets (UAH 706.142 billion) among 67 banks operating in the country.
At the end of October 2022, the bank had 1,294 branches compared to 1,452 a quarter earlier, 1,497 at the beginning of the year and 1,521 a year ago.
