Prestige insurer raises gross premiums by 6.2%, payments by 10.7% in H1 2022

KYIV. Aug 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PrJSC Prestige Insurance Company (Kyiv) completed January-June 2022 with gross premiums in the amount of UAH 40.314 million, which is 6.2% more than in the same period a year earlier, according to the information disclosure system of the National Securities and the Stock Market Commission.

According to it, premiums for the first half of the year, transferred to reinsurers, decreased by 20.5% – to UAH 15.598 million.

Net premiums amounted to UAH 23.938 million, which is 19.2% more than in January-June 2021.

In the first half of this year, the company paid UAH 6.287 million. Administrative expenses decreased to UAH 1.380 million, while distribution costs increased to UAH 15.755 million.

The pretax financial result amounted to UAH 1.285 million, net profit – UAH 50,000.

PrJSC Prestige was established in 2012, the shareholders are citizens of Ukraine. The company has 14 licenses for voluntary and 11 licenses for compulsory types of insurance.

The regional network of the insurance company consists of two directorates (in Vinnytsia and Zakarpattia regions), four points of sale (in the cities of Boyarka, Lutsk, Tiachiv and Kherson) and about 40 sales agents located in the regional centers of Ukraine and providing a full range of insurance services to legal entities and individuals.
