PRESS RELEASE: Polish Association of Construction Employers and construction community in the Kharkiv Region to rebuild the region together
The Regional Building Association which unites builders of the Kharkiv Region is seeking new opportunities and partners that are ready to join the region’s recovery initiative.
International experience and cooperation with European professional associations is a helpful tool for the Kharkiv Region’s builders in reconstructing the region. Specifically, the foundation for such cooperation is laid down in the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Regional Building Association and Polish Association of Construction Employers.
For the Regional Building Association, the Memorandum was signed by Oleksandr Kharchenko, Chairman of the Board, and for the Polish partners, by Jan Styliński, President of the Polish Association of Construction Employers.
It is important that the Polish Association of Construction Employers is a national organization consolidating the companies which together generate over PLN 50 billion in the cost of construction nad installation works in the state and provide jobs to over 50 thousand workers. The Association’s member companies include 13 out of 15 largest enterprises dealing with complex implementation of construction projects, developers, engineering companies, specialized design organization, construction product manufacturing companies, etc.
It is hard to overestimate the urgency of tasks and scope of construction works in the Kharkiv Region. Nearly the entire territory of the region, including the areas liberated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the course of the counteroffensive since early September, needs reconstruction.
Currently, the Association’s members, namely, Trest Zhytlobud-1 JSC, are performing the renovation works at the facilities damaged by hostilities. They are fixing the most technically complicated damages in sixty residential buildings where slabs and stairs are destroyed and floors are totally or partially ruined. In this context, the assistance of Polish partners will expedite completion of the tasks without compromising the work quality. The time limit is before the beginning of the heating period.
