President's Office creates system of control over humanitarian aid – Tymoshenko

KYIV. May 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The President’s Office created a system for monitoring the receipt and distribution of humanitarian aid, at a meeting of the presidium of the Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine, deputy head of the Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko has said.

"According to the results of the operating system, we saw that the regional military administrations receive only 18% of all the assistance, which crosses the border, the rest is received by charitable, religious, public and other organizations," he said.

He also announced additional services that help accelerate the receipt of humanitarian assistance, including the "Path" system that allows border guards to check in a matter of seconds the persons of drivers 18-60 years old, who are allowed to travel abroad for humanitarian aid.

He also announced the introduction of customs e-declaration for humanitarian goods, which will accelerate the import of cargo into Ukraine and will contribute to reducing queues in customs points.
