President of European Commission: We’ll continue to support Ukrainian people in their fight against Russian aggression for as long as it takes
BRUSSELS. Aug 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On the occasion of World Humanitarian Aid Day, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen assured the Ukrainian people that the European Union will continue to support them in the fight against Russian aggression for as long as necessary.
“The Ukrainian people are fighting for our values. We will stand by them as much as we can, for as long as it takes. The European Commission will continue to provide wide-ranging support to address the humanitarian consequences of Russia’s war in Ukraine,” she said on Twitter.
