Premier Palace hotel in Kyiv sees net profit rise by 6.4 times in 2021
KYIV. Dec 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PrJSC Premier Palace Hotel (Kyiv) received UAH 66.4 million in net profit in 2021, while in the previous year the profit was UAH 10.3 million.
According to the annual financial report of the hotel, published in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, the hotel’s net income doubled and amounted to UAH 248.8 million.
The uncovered loss of the hotel in 2021 decreased by 6.5% to UAH 949 million. Current liabilities increased by 37% to UAH 393 million, while there were no long-term liabilities at the end of the year.
In general, the company’s assets increased by 3.2% and amounted to UAH 306.9 million.
The report indicates that the work of the enterprise in 2021 was affected by insufficient support for the tourism industry by the government, the absence of state programs to support the hotel business, and an imperfect system of tax legislation. In addition, the hotel’s activities were negatively affected by the quarantine measures due to COVID-19, as well as tensions due to the possibility of a Russian invasion.
PrJSC Premier Palace Hotel was registered in 2004.
According to the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, for the third quarter of 2022, the shareholders of the hotel are Pumori Enterprises Investments Ltd. (Cyprus, 62.2%) and Ukraine’s Eastern European Hotel Company LLC (24.1%), Rus Hotel Complex LLC (13.5%). According to Opendatabot, the beneficiary is Natalia Selivanova.
The owner of Premier Palace Hotel Kyiv is Financiere Group, which also owns the hotels Dnister (Lviv), Lybid (Kyiv), Slavutych (Kyiv), Premier Hotel Odesa (Odesa). The group includes the Pumori Enterprises Investments LTD hotel holding and Eastern European Hotel Company LLC, which are the shareholders of the Ukrainian hotels.
