Portfolio insurance of ECA pre-export financing reaches UAH 323.435 mln

KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Banks-partners of the Export Credit Agency (ECA) of Ukraine, within the framework of a special program for lending to exporters during martial law, supported the issuance of 26 loans under simplified requirements under collateral for a total of UAH 85.358 million, according to the ECA website.

It is also noted that another loan agreement for UAH 5 million has been agreed by the bank’s credit committee and is awaiting signing by the parties.

The agency indicated that thanks to loans received in pursuance of export contracts, the total amount of potentially supported exports is UAH 323.435 million.

The leaders in terms of the number of supported loans for the implementation of export contracts are Rivne (7 loans totaling UAH 24 million), Sumy (5 loans totaling UAH 15.3 million) and Ivano-Frankivsk regions (3 loans totaling UAH 12.188 million). Entrepreneurs of Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Chernivtsi regions received two loans each. And one more loan was issued in Lviv, Kyiv and Odesa regions.

According to the report, 22 export contracts for a total amount of UAH 268.253 million were concluded with importers from the countries of the European Union: Austria (exports worth UAH 5.360 million), Bulgaria (UAH 15.874 million), Denmark (UAH 11.4 million), Estonia (UAH 8.934 million), Latvia (UAH 17.868 million), Germany (UAH 45.221 million), Poland (UAH 99.146 million), Hungary (UAH 34.750 million) and France (UAH 29.7 million). Exports to Moldova (UAH 47.654 million), the UK (UAH 5.133 million) and Australia (UAH 2.443 million) were also credited.

ECA reports that entrepreneurs who have benefited from such support export paper bags, wooden products, solid fuel boilers, parquet boards, furniture components, furniture, rubber products and various food products.
