Poroshenko could not authorize special measure of Ukraine's defense intelligence agency in Wagner PMC fighters case – MP Bezuhla
KYIV. Sept 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko could not authorize a special reconnaissance event regarding the forced landing of a Turkish plane with Wagner PMC fighters, Head of the Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Commission of Inquiry Maryana Bezuhla (from the Servant of the People faction) said.
"I have a very difficult role as the head of the Temporary Commission of Inquiry, to prevent certain political assessments, but, unfortunately, we can conclude that Petro Oleksiyovych could not authorize such a special event. According to the statements of the fifth president, he personally authorized the special operation in 2018. But as we can see, in 2018 and in 2014 it was a routine work for planning the event for July 2020," the commission’s head said.
