Pope again urges to create humanitarian corridors from Azovstal
ROME. May 2 (Interfax) – Pope Francis has called for safe humanitarian corridors from the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, Italian TV channel TGcom24 reported Sunday.
"Once again, I ask that safe humanitarian corridors be created for people who are trapped in the steelworks of this city," he said.
Earlier, Italian media reported that the Vatican had reportedly tried three times to facilitate the creation of such corridors, but had failed.
