Poland intends to expand border infrastructure with Ukraine for grain export – Morawiecki
KYIV. Nov 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Poland intends to expand the border infrastructure with Ukraine for the export of Ukrainian grain and is already allocating a considerable amount of funds for this, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said.
According to him, as a result of the Russian blockade of the export of Ukrainian grain and food products in the Black Sea, Poland is preparing the construction of new crossing points on the border with Ukraine.
This is necessary to ensure transit exports (of grain from Ukraine) through Poland to our ports on the Baltic Sea – in support of the further reconstruction of Ukraine and also to support overcoming today’s challenges, Morawiecki said at a press conference following the global summit on food security in Kyiv on Saturday.
Now, according to the Polish prime minister, Poland allocates enough money to expand the border infrastructure between the countries, as well as to expand trade.
