Pokrov Mining and Processing Plant increases profit by 14 times in Jan-Sept
KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Pokrov (formerly Ordzhonikidze) Mining and Processing Plant (Dnipropetrovsk region), following the results of work in January to September 2021, increased its net profit 13.8 times, year-over-year, to UAH 99.316 million.
According to the company’s interim report, released in the system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine on Thursday, within this period, net income increased by 45.3%, to UAH 2.347 billion.
Retained earnings by the end of September 2021 reached UAH 1.439 billion.
Over the first nine months 2021, Pokrov Mining and Processing Plant produced 855,900 tonnes of manganese concentrate and 195,000 tonnes of iron ore sinter.
