Podoliak: Western countries have many modern air defense systems, maybe it's time to protect Ukrainian civilian, critical infrastructure?
KYIV. Sept 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Advisor to the Head of the President’s Office Mykhailo Podoliak stressed that Western countries have many modern anti-missile/air defense systems and called for the protection of Ukrainian civilian and critical infrastructure before a large-scale man-made disaster.
"Western countries have many modern and effective missile/air defense systems. But missiles do not fly over Paris, Rome or Berlin. They fly over Ukrainian cities. Maybe it is time to protect civilians and critical infrastructure? Or will we wait for a large-scale man-made disaster?" he said on Twitter.
