Podoliak: Any peace plans without withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine to result into next stages of genocide
KYIV. Feb 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A peace plan that provides for only a ceasefire and further occupation of the territory of Ukraine will result into the next stage of the Russian genocide, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podoliak has said.
“Any “peace plan” with ceasefire only and, as a result, a new delimitation line and continued occupation of Ukraine’s territory isn’t about peace, but about freezing the war, Ukraine’s defeat, next stages of the Russian genocide. Ukraine’s position is known – the withdrawal of the Russian troops to the borders of 1991,” he said on Twitter on Friday.
As reported, a peace plan proposed by China was made public on Friday. It main points include a ceasefire and peace talks.
