Pelosi supports providing Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets
KYIV. Feb 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Former spokesperson of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi supports the provision of F-16 fighter aircraft to Ukraine.
“Ukraine and we are talking about F-16s and I fully support this [providing them to Ukraine], and hope that it will be implemented. I do not understand why we cannot train on them now [training of Ukrainian crews to fly these aircraft], even if we do not have a full commitment. It will take some time,” she said at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday.
