Payments by TAS insurance group grows by one third in Jan-Aug
KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The volume of payments of the TAS insurance group (Kyiv) in January-August 2021 grew by a third compared to the same period of 2020 and amounted to UAH 730.58 million, according to the insurer’s website.
According to the company, in particular, the amount of indemnities by the insurer in January-August 2021 under compulsory civil liability insurance of vehicle owners (OSAGO) policies rose by 39.8%, to UAH 275.65 million, which is 37.73% of the company’s total payments for this period.
The amount of payments under KASKO (voluntary car insurance) policies grew by 45.8%: UAH 239.55 million was reimbursed, which is equal to 32.79% of the insurer’s total payments for eight months ending August 2021.
Under voluntary medical insurance policies, TAS insurance group paid UAH 110.93 million in January-August, which is 15.18% of the total amount of payments and it is 54.2% higher than the corresponding figure for the same period last year.
The share of Green Card policies in the portfolio of the insurer’s payments amounted to 11.27%: UAH 82.35 million was reimbursed under the said policies.
Under property insurance policies, TAS insurance group paid UAH 5.13 million as compensation for eight months ending August 2021, and UAH 16.97 million under other insurance policies.
