Parliament proposes to denounce agreement with Russia on use of Sea of Azov, Kerch Strait

KYIV. Dec 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – MPs from different factions have proposed that the Verkhovna Rada denounces the agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation on cooperation in the use of the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait.

Bill No. 0182 was registered in the Verkhovna Rada, according to the website of the parliament.

The agreement was signed on December 24, 2003 in Kerch and ratified in April 2004.

Among the authors of the bill are Yulia Klymenko (the Holos parliamentary faction), Heorhiy Mazurashu (the Servant of the People), Maria Ionova (European Solidarity), Iryna Konstankevych (For the Future group), and Oksana Savchuk (not a member of any faction).
