Parliament must respond to Russia's State Duma elections with involvement of Ukrainian citizens – Stefanchuk

KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Verkhovna Rada must react to the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk said.

"The elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation have taken place. I would really ask that one of the issues that will be considered by the Verkhovna Rada this week is the reaction of the Ukrainian parliament to what happened, to the fact that elections were held in the occupied Ukrainian Crimea, on the fact that Ukrainian citizens were involved in the elections, who were illegally brought to the relevant polling stations for voting," Stefanchuk said at a meeting of the conciliatory council of leaders of factions and groups on Monday.
