Papir-Mal increases production by 2.5 times over two months
KYIV. March 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Papir-Mal Cardboard and Paper Mill (Malyn, Zhytomyr region) produced products worth UAH 76.94 million in January-February, which is more than 2.5 times higher than the same indicator for the first two months of 2022.
According to the statistics of the UkrPapir association provided to Interfax-Ukraine, the growth in production volumes is primarily due to a 2.5-fold increase in output of containerboard (including corrugated paper), to 11,760 tonnes, while production of paper – bases for sanitary and hygienic products decreased by 21.3%, to 690 tonnes, and toilet paper in rolls – by 26%, to 2.63 million pieces.
Thus, the total output of paper and cardboard by the factory increased by 2.2 time, to 12,450 tonnes.
