Over 750 residents, including children, people with disabilities, managed to be evacuated from temporarily occupied territories of Kharkiv region – Synehubov

KHARKIV. Sept 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Another 753 people managed to be evacuated from the temporarily occupied territories of Kharkiv region, now they are safe, Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Synehubov has said.

"In cooperation with volunteers, rescuers and law enforcement officers, another evacuation was carried out from the temporarily occupied territories. This time, 753 people, including 163 children, were evacuated from the occupation. In addition, there were nine people with disabilities among the evacuees.Those who needs it, received medical and psychological assistance," Synehubov said on his Telegram channel.

The administration’s head thanked all "regional services involved in the organization of the evacuation: medical, rescue, law enforcement units, local governments and all those involved."

"Special thanks to the volunteers from the organizations: Helping to Leave, Eventroom, Way of Ukraine, Kharkiv Help, Etoc, "Common case," and others, which, despite the risks to their own lives, provide invaluable assistance to the population of Kharkiv region," he said.
