Over 3,000 farmers register in state agrarian register for week and half of its work – Dpty Minister of Agrarian Policy
KYIV. Aug 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over a week and a half since the launch of the State Agrarian Register (SAR), more than 3,000 farmers have already registered in it to receive funds under support programs, according to Denys Bashlyk, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization.
"The State Agrarian Register is Diia for agricultural producers. The platform was created not for tax or other control, but solely to make the support of our farmers as comfortable as possible," he stressed during a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center.
According to him, most new users were added in Lviv, Kyiv, Kirovohrad and Vinnytsia regions.
Bashlyk stressed that the principle of the SAR work is to reduce bureaucratic procedures, as well as to open simplified access for Ukrainian farmers not only to state support, but also to international technical and humanitarian assistance. The SAR platform will simplify the possibility of obtaining loans by the agricultural sector, because in the future it is planned to attract Ukrainian banks to the register, which will allow financial institutions to track the work history and solvency of each agrarian.
"Getting help is now more accessible. To do this, you only need to have a qualified electronic signature or an electronic digital signature and register. All information regarding the agricultural producer will be pulled up automatically from the registers related to agricultural activities: the Unified State Register, the State Land Cadastre, the Animal Register and the State Register of Rights," Bashlyk noted at the briefing.
As reported, the SAR is an automated electronic system available to all agricultural producers, regardless of the form of management. With the help of the register, it is planned to provide public services, simplify access to bank financing and loan guarantee programs, as well as introduce targeted government support programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
