OSCE Chairman intends to extend mandate of organization's Special Representative in Ukraine – Kuleba
KYIV. Jan 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Foreign Minister of Northern Macedonia, OSCE Chairman Bujar Osmani intends to extend the mandate of the OSCE Special Representative in Ukraine, said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.
“We did not stop OSCE activities on the territory of Ukraine – the Russian Federation did it, not supporting the continuation of the mandate of the OSCE project coordinator in Ukraine. We have never had anything against the continuation of the mandate. We see that under the previous Polish chairmanship, together with the OSCE Secretary General, we found a solution and appointed a special representative,” Kuleba said at a press conference with OSCE Chairman Osmani in Kyiv.
Kuleba referred to Osmani’s words that he, as the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, intends to support this practice and extend the mandate of the OSCE Special Representative in Ukraine.
