Organic products export dashboard launched in Ukraine

KYIV. April 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Export of Ukrainian Organic Products dashboard with exclusive data on the statistics of exports of organic products of Ukraine was launched by the public institution Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office in partnership with Organic Standard LLC.

“Data for 2021-2023 have been submitted by months and certain categories of exported goods. The dashboard allows evaluating the volume of exports of certified organic products by Ukraine in terms of product groups and detailed categories of goods, importing countries and countries of destination, types of transport,” Advisor to the director of Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office Olha Hvozdeva said.

According to her, the dashboard contains four pages. The first page presents data in the context of common product groups and the dynamics of time. It is possible to compare the total export of organic products of Ukraine by month or by product groups.

The second page presents data broken down by detailed product categories in a line chart over time.

The third page displays data in the context of logistics channels: road, rail and sea transport. The line chart displays the dynamics over time. The tables provide information that can be sorted using additional filters.

The fourth page presents data by importing and destination countries for different categories of goods. Filters by time and country of destination are available on the page.

The dashboard currently provides information as of January 2023. According to them, 30,360 tonnes of organic products were exported in January compared to 40,590 tonnes in January 2022, 18,160 tonnes in December and 15,690 tonnes in January 2021.

The Export of Ukrainian Organic Products dashboard was developed with the support of Switzerland within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian program “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine.”
