Opposition trying to disrupt TIC work considering Wagner PMC case – MP Bezuhla
KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Representatives of the opposition political forces are trying to disrupt the work of the Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Commission of Inquiry (TIC), which, in particular, is considering materials on the Wagner PMC, its head Maryana Bezuhla (from the Servant of the People faction) said.
"At the moment, the opposition is trying to disrupt the consideration of the case on the merits. Nevertheless, we continue to work. Today, a witness was also partially heard Mr. Burba [former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense Vasyl Burba], we will continue to hear him and the protocol on this as well will be delivered to the materials of the interim commission of inquiry," Bezuhla said at a briefing on Monday.
She also said due to the opposition’s attempts to disrupt the work of the TIC, the commission is also limited in its intention to move on to considering the issue of the Ilovaisk tragedy and the talks of MP Viktor Medvedchuk with the Russians.
