Opposition supporters being detained at rallies in Tbilisi
TBILISI. Nov 10 (Interfax) – The police have begun detaining opposition supporters both at an opposition rally outside the Georgian Health Ministry in Tbilisi and at a rally underway near the State Security Service headquarters.
Opposition leaders said at a protest outside the parliament building on Tuesday that protests demanding that former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who is currently in a prison hospital, be transferred to a civilian clinic will be held simultaneously near the State Security Service, the Health Ministry and the Justice Ministry on Wednesday.
