Opening of OECD office in Ukraine to be important step in mutual cooperation – Zelenskyy at meeting with NATO Sec General
KYIV. Feb 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The opening of the office of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Ukraine will be an important step in mutual cooperation, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a meeting in Kyiv with Secretary General of the Organization Mathias Cormann.
“I had a meeting with Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development Mathias Cormann. The opening of the OECD Office in Ukraine will be an important step in our cooperation,” Zelenskyy said on his Telegram channel.
He also invited representatives of the OECD to join the process of rebuilding Ukraine and thanked the Organization for recognizing the prospects of Ukrainian membership in it.
“Everything that is currently being done and planned in Ukraine is aimed at the victory and future reconstruction of Ukraine,” Zelenskyy noted.
As reported, the OECD Office will open in Kyiv on March 1, as announced earlier in the day by its Secretary General.
