OPEC+ falls 3.58 mln bpd short of oil output plan in Aug – source
MOSCOW. Sept 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – OPEC+ countries in August fell behind their oil production plan by 3.58 million bpd, a source familiar with the organization’s report told Interfax.
OPEC countries accounted for a shortfall of almost 1.4 million bpd, non-OPEC countries – 2.19 million bpd.
By comparison, the shortfall in July was 2.89 million bpd: 1.2 million bpd for OPEC countries and 1.7 million bpd for non-OPEC countries.
In August, OPEC+ countries’ oil production quota was increased by 648,000 bpd compared to July.
